The Client

HoseMate is a Western Australian-owned business specialising in hydraulic hose and fittings, established in April 2016. Their focus is on providing innovative solutions for the industry, and they approached us to help showcase their latest product. By utilising cutting-edge technology, HoseMate aims to streamline the workflow for users, allowing for easy ordering of parts directly from an iPad, with seamless delivery to storage bins, enhancing efficiency in their operations.

The Challenge

Creating HoseMate’s 3D animation for their new hydraulic hose crimping and production bench came with several challenges. Our main task was to transform 2D plans into a detailed 3D model that showcased the bench’s features and components accurately. Capturing the seamless workflow, where parts are ordered via iPad and delivered directly to the storage bins, required meticulous attention to detail to ensure the animation reflected the smooth operation of the system.

Additionally, showcasing the product’s key selling points while maintaining visual clarity in the ‘build-up’ style animation posed a challenge. Balancing the technical details with an engaging visual representation was essential to meet the client’s objectives and expectations.
