Creating HoseMate’s 3D animation for their new hydraulic hose crimping and production bench came with several challenges. Our main task was to transform 2D plans into a detailed 3D model that showcased the bench’s features and components accurately. Capturing the seamless workflow, where parts are ordered via iPad and delivered directly to the storage bins, required meticulous attention to detail to ensure the animation reflected the smooth operation of the system.
Additionally, showcasing the product’s key selling points while maintaining visual clarity in the ‘build-up’ style animation posed a challenge. Balancing the technical details with an engaging visual representation was essential to meet the client’s objectives and expectations.
Our Solution
We started by transforming the 2D plans into a highly detailed 3D model, ensuring every component was accurately represented. This included highlighting the seamless workflow, where parts are ordered via an iPad and delivered to the storage bins below. The ‘build-up’ style animation brought the entire production bench to life, showcasing its unique functionality and efficiency.
