Alwela 360° Render and 3D Floor Plan in Outdoor Living Design

3D Walkabout produced an updated 360° render and 3D floor plan for a custom home project, helping finalise design approvals and support virtual tour production with clear, client-driven updates.

The Client

The client is a private homeowner developing a custom residential property with a strong focus on functional design and outdoor living. The project included a detailed outdoor entertainment area and required accurate 3D visuals and planning support to guide design decisions

The Challenge

This project required producing an updated 360° render and a supporting 3D floor plan based on evolving client feedback. The key change involved resizing the outdoor entertainment area to a specific width (4060mm), which needed to be reflected accurately in the visuals before the virtual tour could be finalised.

Because the 360° render was being used as the approval gateway, the challenge was locking in a final version with minimal rework, ensuring all updates were captured clearly before moving into tour production, where late-stage changes would create extra time and cost. At the same time, the 3D floor plan scope proved more complex than first estimated, requiring revised pricing and careful coordination so timelines, expectations and approvals stayed aligned.

Our Solution

We reviewed the client’s feedback in detail and applied the requested dimensional change to the outdoor entertainment area, updating the 360° render to accurately reflect the revised 4060mm width. The updated version was shared promptly via an interactive link, allowing the client to review the changes in context and confirm approval before moving forward.

Once the render was aligned, we coordinated next steps to progress the virtual tour and the more complex 3D floor plan, clearly communicating scope, timing and pricing adjustments upfront. This ensured the project could move ahead smoothly, with expectations set early and no surprises during final delivery.

Reviewed the client’s feedback and confirmed the required dimensional update to the outdoor entertainment area (4060mm)

Used the updated render as the approval checkpoint before proceeding to virtual tour production

Aligned next steps, turnaround and expectations early to keep the project moving smoothly to final delivery

Shared the revised render via an interactive link for fast, in-context review and sign-off

Confirmed the 3D floor plan scope and communicated the revised complexity-based pricing upfront

Updated the 360° render to accurately reflect the revised width and overall layout
