Marshall White | 3D Renders for Heritage Apartment Marketing

3D Walkabout produced high-end 3D renders to help Marshall White market a heritage-listed apartment as a luxury home, using only reference images and Street View to meet urgent campaign deadlines.

The Client

LPC is an independent property advisory firm based in Australia, specialising in tenant and occupier representation. They help businesses make informed property decisions through strategy, leasing, and project management services across office, industrial, and retail sectors.

The Challenge

Marshall White needed a way to show buyers how a heritage-listed apartment building at 1 Anderson Street could be transformed into one luxury home, without any physical renovation taking place. The brief called for a single exterior render plus four interior views (living room, kitchen, master bedroom and ensuite) that would present a modern, high-end look while still feeling believable for the existing structure. These visuals were critical for marketing: the property couldn’t go online, and brochures couldn’t be finalised, until the renders were ready ahead of the first inspection.

The project came with a few constraints. There were no architectural plans or site photos to work from, only Google Maps/Street View, client-supplied reference imagery and AI-edited samples showing the style they wanted. At the same time, the building’s heritage status meant the original façade and proportions had to be respected, even as the design was “upgraded” to a luxury residence. With references and location details arriving after the quote was approved, the team also had to compress their usual production window to meet a firm, time-sensitive deadline.

Our Solution

To bring the client’s vision to life, we began by reconstructing the existing heritage façade using Google Street View and reference images, ensuring every detail, from proportions to rooflines, remained faithful to the real building. From there, we elevated the exterior with refined materials, cleaner finishes and subtle modern upgrades that aligned with a luxury single-residence feel while still respecting its heritage character. For the interiors, our team interpreted room sizes, layouts and architectural cues directly from imagery, crafting four modern, high-end spaces that matched the client’s style references.

Each render was built to feel both aspirational and realistic, showcasing what a full renovation could achieve inside the existing shell. Given the urgency of the campaign, production was prioritised and staged. We delivered the exterior first to support early marketing, then fast-tracked the interiors through focused feedback loops, allowing the client to approve styling and details quickly. This streamlined approach ensured Marshall White received a polished suite of renders in time for brochures, online listings and their first property inspection.

Fast-tracked interior renders through tight feedback loops so Marshall White had a complete, polished set of visuals in time for brochures, online listings and the first inspection

Interpreted room layouts and sizes from imagery rather than plans, ensuring the proposed renovation felt both aspirational and achievable

Designed four hero interiors, living room, kitchen, master bedroom and ensuite, based on visual cues, creating modern, high-end spaces within the existing shell

Reconstructed the existing heritage façade using Google Street View and references, keeping real-world proportions and rooflines accurate

Upgraded the exterior with cleaner finishes, refined materials and subtle modern touches while respecting the building’s heritage character

Prioritised delivery of the exterior render to support early marketing while interiors were still in production
