The Client

Adelphi Living is a Western Australian property developer specialising in high-quality Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for NDIS participants. With a focus on comfort, accessibility, and long-term independence, they create purpose-built homes that support residents in living safely and confidently within the community.

The Challenge

Adelphi Living, a provider of NDIS care and specialist disability housing in Western Australia, required a highly realistic 3D animation to digitally present their newly completed 3-bedroom SDA home in Gosnells.T he animation needed to accurately reflect key accessibility features such as wheelchair-friendly under-bench clearance, adjustable benchtop heights, and step-free thresholds—details that are essential in SDA housing.

One of the major challenges was ensuring the visual portrayal matched the actual layout, inclusions, and styling from the client’s design documents, including changes submitted mid-production. Balancing fast delivery ahead of the home’s scheduled opening with multiple design refinements added to the project’s complexity. Clear communication and accurate visual translation were crucial to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and alignment with NDIS presentation standards.

Our Solution

To meet Adelphi Living’s need for an engaging and accurate visual representation of their Gosnells SDA home, 3D Walkabout produced a high-quality 3D animation that highlighted the property’s accessibility features and modern design.

Working from the client’s colour mood boards and detailed addenda, our team recreated the home’s interior with precision—incorporating custom requests such as an adjustable kitchen benchtop, step-free entry thresholds, and side-opening ovens. We removed or modified elements like blue curtains, aquariums, and decorative figures to better reflect Adelphi’s intended final layout. Timely feedback loops allowed for multiple refinements, all delivered ahead of schedule for client presentation. The final animation was optimised for use across Adelphi’s website and digital platforms, enabling them to showcase the home to stakeholders, NDIS participants, and families without requiring physical inspections.
