3D Rendering and Animation for Secondary School Design

3D Walkabout delivered a detailed 3D rendering and 3D animation of a secondary school, refining models, scaling assets, and aligning every detail for accurate design presentations.

The Client

Winc is a leading Australian supplier of workplace essentials, providing everything from office supplies and furniture to safety gear and cleaning products. They serve businesses, schools, and government organisations across the country.

The Challenge

The project set out to create a detailed 3D animation of a secondary school to support design presentations and stakeholder engagement. It involved refining a 3ds Max model to meet strict accuracy and presentation standards.

A major challenge was ensuring every element matched real-world proportions and client expectations, from large architectural details down to everyday items like bottles and headphones. With frequent feedback and multiple file versions, the team had to maintain consistency and version control while delivering a polished, immersive environment.

Our Solution

To meet the school’s needs, the 3D Walkabout team worked closely with Winc to refine the animation. The 3ds Max model was updated across collaborators, ensuring consistency while resizing and repositioning items like Dettol bottles, headphones, and classroom products to the correct proportions.

Camera angles were adjusted per client feedback, with wider and tilted views added to better showcase spaces. Product placement was refined for realism and order, while version control and quick responses to tracker updates kept the workflow efficient. The final renders captured both the design intent and practical layout, giving stakeholders a clear view of the learning environment.
