Bundaberg Water Treatment – Virtual Tour on Sites
The Bundaberg Water Treatment virtual tour showcases key bore sites and facilities using drone imagery, 360-degree panoramas, and custom navigation, creating an informative and accessible online experience for stakeholders
The Client
Bundaberg Regional Council serves communities across the Bundaberg region in Queensland, supporting local development, infrastructure, tourism, and community services. The council is committed to building a connected, resilient, and sustainable region for residents and visitors alike.
The Challenge
Our Solution
To resolve the missing location lines, we revisited the aerial view layer and manually aligned each bore site marker with its intended position. This ensured a clear visual link between labels and site coordinates. For image inconsistencies, we selectively replaced affected panoramas and applied post-processing adjustments to improve clarity without requiring a full reshoot.
Navigation improvements were made by refining hotspot placement and adjusting default view orientations. Key locations were updated to allow smoother transitions between scenes, reducing confusion in multi-point areas. We also introduced a consistent naming convention across all hotspots to support user understanding. Stakeholder feedback was managed through version-controlled updates and structured review cycles. This approach allowed us to efficiently track requested changes, such as visual tweaks, label edits, and table styling, while maintaining the overall integrity of the tour. Regular communication ensured nothing was missed and the final product met expectations.
