The Client

Buranda Health Hub is a modern healthcare facility within the Princess Alexandra Hospital precinct. As part of Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT, it provides specialist consulting suites, radiology, imaging, and pharmacy services in a patient-focused environment.

The Challenge

The Buranda Health Hub project faced several Challenge. Design changes, including colours, fonts, and callouts, needed refining to match Northwest Healthcare Properties REIT branding. Structural details like building classification, sustainability messaging, and glazing also required adjustments. Coordinating with stakeholders was tricky, with differing opinions on visuals, marketing, and branding slowing approvals. Technical issues, such as large file sizes, frequent 3D model updates, and workflow delays, added further challenges. There was also uncertainty about how to position the project within the PA Hospital precinct, and refining video renders (lighting, transitions, and storytelling) took longer than expected.

To address these challenges, a structured approach was taken to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and clarity in the final presentation. The team worked closely with stakeholders to set clear brand guidelines for colours, fonts, and callouts, reducing unnecessary revisions. A detailed review process verified building classifications, sustainability messaging, and glazing details before finalising designs.

File management was optimised with compressed sharing and version control to enhance workflow efficiency. A strong messaging strategy clarified the project’s positioning within the PA Hospital precinct. Video renders were enhanced using better lighting, smoother transitions, and refined storytelling to create a professional and compelling final presentation.
