3D Walkabout completed a Matterport scan of 8 Munsie Ave, Daglish, delivering a detailed virtual tour and 3D model file for architectural reference.

The Client

Campbell Architecture is an Australian design studio recognised for its residential projects that balance functionality with contemporary style. The practice focuses on creating homes that reflect modern living while maximising comfort, usability, and design potential.

The Challenge

The owners of 8 Munsie Ave, Daglish engaged 3D Walkabout (via Campbell Architecture) to complete a Matterport scan and generate a 3D model file for architectural reference. The capture needed to be scheduled between 12–1 pm to fit around the client’s day, with an on-site window of about 1–2 hours before a 3 pm airport departure.

The brief required an efficient, single-visit scan that covered the residence thoroughly enough to deliver a usable dollhouse model and hosted virtual tour link, with same-day processing status shared to stakeholders. Coordination across client, architect, and scanner was essential to align access, timing, and deliverables.

Our Solution

The team coordinated closely with the client and architect to schedule the scan within the available midday window. Using an efficient Matterport workflow, the property was fully captured in 1–2 hours, ensuring the client could leave for the airport on time.

Both the interior and layout were documented with high accuracy, creating a detailed dollhouse model and virtual tour. The team also prepared a 3D model file for Campbell Architecture, providing a reliable reference for ongoing design work. A tour link was shared the same day, giving the client and architect immediate access to the captured data.
