The Client

First Quadrant Properties is a luxury property developer specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects across Australia. Known for its innovative designs and commitment to quality, the company creates bespoke developments that enhance urban landscapes. Each project blends modern architecture with functionality, delivering premium spaces that reflect the character of their location.

The Challenge

Development in NSW. The goal was to create a visually compelling exterior animation that highlighted the project’s design, landscaping, and premium materials while integrating semi-transparent ‘ghost’ buildings to provide context without distraction. Ensuring a cinematic and unobstructed camera path was a key challenge, requiring careful adjustments to avoid trees or other elements blocking important views. Material accuracy was also critical, with custom brick finishes and luxury details needing precise representation.

Multiple drafts and feedback cycles were necessary to refine landscaping, scene composition, and camera movement. Additionally, environmental accuracy was a priority, integrating drone footage and Google Earth data for realistic placement. The project also required multiple deliverables, including an orbit-style animation, FBX files, and cinematic break shots, all within a timeline that aligned with client presentations. Balancing visual quality, technical precision, and efficient workflow was essential to ensuring the final animation set a new benchmark for real estate visualisation.
