First Quadrant – 3D Animation of a Modern Architecture
First Quadrant’s 3D animation highlights its contemporary design, lush landscaping, and premium finishes. Featuring semi-transparent ‘ghost’ buildings for context, the animation showcases materials like Opaque Slate and Cloudy Silver, with luxury elements such as Teslas. Cinematic camera paths create a visually captivating marketing tool.
The Client
First Quadrant Properties is a luxury property developer specialising in high-end residential and commercial projects across Australia. Known for its innovative designs and commitment to quality, the company creates bespoke developments that enhance urban landscapes. Each project blends modern architecture with functionality, delivering premium spaces that reflect the character of their location.
The Challenge
Our Solution
To bring First Quadrant Properties’ to life, a high-quality 3D animation was crafted, blending cinematic storytelling with technical precision. The animation seamlessly integrated semi-transparent ‘ghost’ buildings, providing context while maintaining focus on the new structures. A carefully planned camera path was refined to ensure unobstructed views, enhancing the visual flow and overall presentation. Material accuracy was achieved by meticulously recreating custom brick finishes and luxury elements, ensuring the final visuals reflected the project’s premium design.
Multiple feedback cycles were conducted to fine-tune landscaping, scene composition, and lighting, ensuring every detail met client expectations. Environmental accuracy was enhanced by incorporating drone footage and Google Earth data, achieving a realistic and contextually accurate placement of the development. The final deliverables included an orbit-style animation, FBX files for planning, and cinematic break shots, providing a comprehensive visual package tailored for client presentations. By leveraging advanced rendering in D5, the animation set a new benchmark for real estate visualisation, effectively showcasing the innovation and luxury of the Willoughby Road project.
