Goldstar Transportation is an Australian logistics company leading the way in automated delivery solutions. With a strong focus on innovation and efficiency, Goldstar integrates advanced robotics into its fleet to streamline food logistics and set new standards in the transport industry.

The Challenge

Creating an animation for Goldstar Transportation’s robotic food delivery system required balancing technical accuracy with visual clarity. The goal was to showcase the RFID-guided robotic arm’s precision and efficiency within standard delivery trucks, while keeping the animation engaging and easy to follow.

Animating complex movements, coordinating multiple camera angles, and adapting to tight timelines demanded close collaboration and smart problem-solving. The result needed to clearly reflect the innovation behind Goldstar’s logistics solution without overwhelming the viewer.

Our Solution

To showcase Goldstar Transportation’s robotic delivery system, we produced a high-quality 3D animation that clearly demonstrated its precision, speed, and integration within a standard truck. Using accurate modelling and RFID-guided movement sequences, we brought the robotic arm to life with smooth, cinematic visuals.

Key features included dynamic camera angles, realistic pallet loading, and 4K rendering for sharp display on large screens. By working closely with the client and refining each scene, we delivered a clear, engaging animation that highlights Goldstar’s innovative approach to automated logistics.

3D SCANNING OPERATOR (NSW) - ‘J-SCAN’
FACT FILE: John is a 3D Scanning Operator at 3D Walkabout, based in Sydney, with a decade of experience in 3D design, virtual reality production, and immersive environment creation. With a background as a 3D artist and researcher, John brings deep expertise in real-time 3D production, photogrammetry, and environment design using tools such as Unreal Engine, Unity, Autodesk Maya, Substance Painter, and Reality Capture. Before joining 3D Walkabout, John worked extensively in VR/XR development and teaching at UNSW. He holds a PhD in Virtual Reality Design from the University of New South Wales.
