The Client
Hansgrohe is a globally recognised leader in premium bathroom and kitchen fixtures, known for its innovation, quality, and award-winning designs. With a heritage of German engineering, Hansgrohe delivers high-performance taps, showers, and accessories that combine functionality with timeless aesthetics for residential and commercial spaces.
The Challenge
Hansgrohe (Victoria) needed a 3D virtual tour of their showroom to act as a silent sales tool for both walk-in visitors and remote clients. The main goal was to create an interactive and engaging way to showcase their Hansgrohe and AXOR product displays, letting customers explore the space freely and get familiar with the range.
One of the key challenges was making sure the virtual experience reflected the high quality and layout of the physical showroom. The tour needed to include clear tagging, accurate branding, and feel natural to move through. It also had to be suitable for use across different platforms, including Google Street View. Making ongoing changes—like adjusting tag positions, fixing the business name display, and removing unwanted viewpoints—meant working closely with the Hansgrohe team throughout the process to get everything just right.
Our Solution
To bring Hansgrohe’s vision to life, 3D Walkabout created a detailed Matterport virtual tour of the showroom. The tour was built to be easy to use and visually engaging, with custom tags highlighting key products and features. This allowed customers to explore the space at their own pace, whether onsite or online.
We worked closely with the Hansgrohe team throughout the project, making refinements as needed. This included updating product tags, adjusting the business name for accuracy, and removing specific viewpoints that weren’t needed. The tour was also integrated with Google Street View, helping boost the showroom’s online visibility and making it accessible to a broader audience.
