Kinderworld – 3D Virtual Tour of Day Care Centre

This Matterport tour of Kinderworld Day Care captures a 200sqm indoor space and outdoor playground, delivered with photos and Google Business integration.

The Client

KinderWorld is a long-established early learning provider in Victoria, offering quality childcare and kindergarten programs across multiple locations. With a strong focus on play-based learning and school readiness, they create nurturing environments that support each child’s growth and development.

 

The Challenge

Kinderworld Day Care Centre, located in Noble Park, VIC, needed a professional way to showcase its facilities to prospective parents through an immersive online experience. The goal was to highlight both the indoor learning spaces and the outdoor playground in a way that felt engaging, accessible, and true to the atmosphere of the centre.

However, given the nature of the setting, the project came with some important considerations. Privacy was a key concern—no children could appear in the footage—so timing had to be carefully planned. In addition, the client required a complete digital content package: a virtual tour, downloadable images, integration support for their website, and updates to their Google Business Profile. All of this needed to be completed efficiently, with minimal disruption to the day-to-day operations of the centre.

Our Solution

3D Walkabout delivered a tailored virtual tour and photography package that met all of Kinderworld’s requirements. The scan was conducted early in the morning before opening hours to ensure a distraction-free environment and full compliance with privacy needs. The Matterport Pro 2 camera was used to capture the 200sqm indoor space with high visual accuracy, while the outdoor playground was scanned using the Matterport Pro 3, which is optimised for capturing open and sunlit environments.

Once the scan was complete, we provided the client with an interactive Matterport tour, embedded HTML code for easy website integration, and a folder of high-resolution downloadable photos. We also uploaded the tour directly to the client’s Google Business Profile, giving them an instantly accessible asset for online discovery. The final result was a high-quality digital showcase that allows parents to explore the centre remotely while supporting Kinderworld’s visibility and communication goals.
