Lotus Product for PIER Marketing – Renders & Animation

3D animation and product renders for PIER Marketing’s Lotus panels, showcasing accurate materials, refined details, and polished visuals for website and marketing use.

The Client

PIER Marketing is a full-service marketing agency based in Mornington, Victoria. They help businesses grow through strategic branding, digital marketing, content creation, and design tailored to local and national audiences.

The Challenge

The project involved creating a full suite of high-quality product renders and a short animation for PIER Marketing’s Lotus panel range. Each variation required precise modelling, accurate materials, and consistent lighting across multiple sizes, colours, and configurations. As the renders were being prepared for an e-commerce integration, every detail, from feet and caster design to shadow lines and fabrics, needed to match real-world references exactly.

A major challenge was managing ongoing rounds of feedback while ensuring accuracy across dozens of deliverables. The team had to correct material inconsistencies, update background treatments, adjust lighting levels, and respond to evolving specifications as the client refined their requirements. Additional complexities included delivering transparent-background versions, supplying CAD files for multiple configurations, and ensuring all updates remained aligned with a tight marketing deadline.

Our Solution

My team streamlined the process by focusing on fast, accurate updates across all product variations. We refined the 3D models based on PIER’s reference photos, correcting feet details, caster shapes, frame edges, materials, and lighting to ensure each render matched the real product. Updated versions were delivered in batches so the client could review one set before we applied changes to the rest.

Once all visuals were approved, we supplied the final transparent-background renders and exported the required CAD files. The animation was also revised with corrected textures, brighter lighting, and updated product details. Close coordination between modelling, rendering, and project management helped us deliver polished assets quickly, even with multiple rounds of feedback and tight timelines.

Corrected all product details based on client-supplied reference images, including feet, casters, frame edges, and textures

Delivered updated render batches for review before applying changes across all product variations

Refined the animation with improved textures, lighting, and corrected product elements for a polished final output

Provided final renders in both background and transparent versions to support website integration

Adjusted lighting, background brightness, and material accuracy to ensure consistent visual quality

Updated and exported CAD files for each product model once visual approvals were confirmed
