3D Walkabout delivered Matterport 360 virtual tours for two Normus Homes display properties in Kensington Gardens, showcasing interiors, exteriors, and key features in an interactive format.

The Client

Normus Homes is a South Australian home builder recognised for creating high-quality residential developments and display homes. With a strong focus on craftsmanship, design, and community, Normus delivers projects that combine modern architecture with functional living spaces. Their reputation is built on attention to detail and a commitment to providing homes that meet the needs of today’s buyers while adding long-term value.

The Challenge

Normus Homes required Matterport 360 virtual tours of two neighbouring display homes in Kensington Gardens, each around 280sqm. The goal was to capture both properties in a single visit and present them online in an engaging, buyer-friendly format.

The tours needed to highlight unique features such as curved finishes, fireplaces, modern kitchen islands, and stylish bathrooms, while also covering outdoor patios and facades. There was also discussion around adding Mattertags to provide interactive hotspots for extra context. With a delivery timeline of just four weeks, the project demanded efficient planning to balance detail, scope, and turnaround.

Our Solution

To meet Normus Homes’ requirements, the 3D Walkabout team planned and executed both scans in a single visit, ensuring minimal disruption and efficient coverage of the two display homes. Using the Matterport platform, we captured high-resolution 3D models that showcased every detail, from curved architectural features and fireplaces to the modern kitchens and bathrooms.

Outdoor areas, including patios and front facades, were also documented to provide a complete view of each property. The option for Mattertags was prepared, allowing interactive hotspots to be added for additional context if required. By streamlining the workflow and maintaining clear communication with the client, we delivered the tours within the requested four-week timeframe, ready for immediate integration into Normus Homes’ marketing channels.
