The Client

Avenu is a property developer in South Australia, delivering Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) housing designed for people living with disabilities. Their Seacombe Gardens project focuses on accessibility, comfort, and practical living spaces tailored to meet diverse care needs.

The Challenge

Seacombe Gardens in South Australia engaged 3D Walkabout to create a full set of 3D renders for their new Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) project. The goal was to produce detailed images to help with marketing and design presentations, clearly showing the accessibility features and open layouts needed for people living with disabilities.

The challenge was to accurately capture both the external and internal design, ensuring that every detail—like wide spaces, accessible bathrooms, and open-plan living—matched real-life requirements. The outdoor alfresco area also needed extra adjustments to suit accessibility standards, such as changing the landscaping, furniture, and camera angles.

 

Our Solution

To bring the SDA project to life, we produced a full set of high-quality 3D renders showing both the inside and outside of the homes. Key areas like bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and the alfresco area were carefully staged to highlight accessibility features and the overall design.

We worked closely with the client over several rounds of feedback, making sure the renders reflected the real-life building plans and their vision. Special attention was given to the alfresco area, where we fine-tuned the perspective, updated the landscaping, and adjusted the furniture layout to meet accessibility needs. The final images now give the client a clear and professional set of visuals for marketing and stakeholder presentations.
