Smarthomes 3D Animation of Yarra Glen Residential Development

This 3D animation for Adelphi Living showcases an SDA-compliant home in Kalgoorlie, with custom interior adjustments for accessibility and NDIS housing.

The Client

Smart Homes is a Victorian home builder specialising in custom-designed residential homes. They offer flexible floorplans, tailored designs, and personalised service to help clients build their ideal home across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

The Challenge

Smarthomes asked us to create a 3D animation for their Yarraview Road project in Yarra Glen. The main goal was to show off the full layout of the residential development to help with client meetings, council submissions, and marketing.

The challenge was to make sure the animation clearly showed how the houses were arranged along the shared driveway, with the flythrough travelling down one side and back up the other. We also had to make sure small but important details—like landscaping, retaining walls, stairs, and car spots—were all accurate and matched the latest building and landscape plans. This meant working closely with the client’s project manager and making several rounds of updates to get everything just right.

Our Solution

We created a highly detailed 3D animation of the Yarraview Road development that followed the shared driveway, first showcasing the homes on one side, then returning along the other. The animation included realistic landscaping, natural lighting, and environmental elements to match the real-world setting.

Working closely with the client, we added updated architectural details, adjusted elevations, included Units 12 and 13, and refined materials to ensure the final video looked both accurate and visually impressive. The final high-res animation was delivered ready for client presentations, marketing, and council approvals.
