3D Walkabout captured a Matterport scan of a Claremont home, giving Campbell Architecture a digital twin they can access anytime for measurements, planning, and design work.

The Client

Campbell Architecture is a Sydney-based architectural practice specialising in high-end residential design, including new homes, renovations, and heritage projects. The studio focuses on thoughtful, client-led design, delivering refined and carefully detailed homes tailored to each client’s lifestyle and site context.

 

The Challenge

Campbell Architecture required a precise digital capture of a residential property at 1 Alexandra Ave, Claremont, to support the architectural design process. The goal was to create a detailed Matterport scan that could be used as a reliable spatial reference for planning, design decisions, and collaboration throughout the project.

The challenge was to capture the home accurately while coordinating access between the architect, homeowners, and the 3D Walkabout scanning team. Beyond simply documenting the property, the digital twin also needed to remain accessible online so the architect could revisit the space remotely, measure areas, and reference the environment during the design phase.

Our Solution

We coordinated directly with the architect and homeowners to organise a smooth on-site capture of the Claremont property. Once the quote was approved, a professional scanning operator was scheduled to photograph and scan the home using Matterport technology, ensuring the entire space was captured accurately and efficiently.

The result was a high-resolution digital twin that Campbell Architecture could access online anytime. The hosted Matterport model allowed the architect to revisit the property remotely, review spatial details, take measurements, and reference the environment throughout the design process,  turning the scan into a practical working tool rather than just a visual record.

Made hosting flexible, it can be removed anytime once it’s no longer needed

Produced a high-resolution Matterport digital twin for remote viewing

Booked a professional photographer/scan operator to capture the full home on-site
