The Client

Ocean View Property is a boutique residential developer focused on delivering luxury coastal homes that balance architectural sophistication with scenic surrounds. With a commitment to premium design and detail, they cater to high-end buyers seeking exclusive living spaces in sought-after coastal locations.

 

The Challenge

The Ocean View Property project involved producing a high-end 3D animation and a series of still renders that would showcase both the interior and exterior features of two luxury units. The visual content needed to accurately reflect real-world ocean views using photo and video references provided by the client.

A key challenge was coordinating feedback and revisions across multiple visual assets, including over 15 renders and six animation clips, while waiting on crucial drone footage needed for camera tracking. Ensuring consistency across all scenes and aligning the rendered environment with client expectations required extensive back-and-forth collaboration, precision modelling, and last-minute corrections. Tight deadlines added pressure to deliver final approvals before the holiday period.

Our Solution

To bring the Ocean View Property vision to life, our team at 3D Walkabout developed a comprehensive suite of 3D assets, beginning with detailed CAD and DWG imports to ensure architectural accuracy. We created five photorealistic exterior renders and twelve richly detailed interior renders, carefully integrating real photo references to showcase the ocean-facing outlook from key living areas.

To complement the stills, we produced a cinematic 60–120 second animation that blended indoor flythroughs with sweeping exterior views. While the official drone footage was delayed, we proactively generated a placeholder aerial clip to keep the project on track, later integrating the final footage into the animation using camera tracking. Throughout the process, we handled multiple rounds of feedback on lighting, detailing, and stair geometry, making precise refinements to match the client’s expectations. The final deliverables, approved before the end-of-year deadline, included a high-resolution render suite and a polished 3D animation optimised for marketing use across platforms.
