The Client
Cleary Bros has been a cornerstone of the New South Wales South Coast construction industry for over a century. Founded by John Joseph ‘Jack’ Cleary and his brothers, the company evolved from transport and timber-getting into a comprehensive construction service provider. Today, as part of Maas Group Holdings, Cleary Bros continues to deliver market-leading property, construction, and infrastructure solutions, upholding a legacy of quality and community support..

The Challenge
The Cleary Brothers project encountered delays due to repeated revisions, text inconsistencies, and technical issues in updating the Matterport model and animation files. Key problems included incorrect or missing labels, such as “Cleary Brothers” instead of “Cleary Bros,” and inconsistencies in the virtual tour requiring multiple follow-ups. Additionally, browser caching issues prevented updates from displaying correctly, leading to confusion and further revisions.
Voiceover and subtitle changes, including renaming “Figtree Hill” to “The Hill” and removing the “preview” watermark, remained unresolved. The animation and virtual tour required multiple refinements to meet project specifications, with ongoing adjustments affecting final delivery timelines.
To improve project execution, a structured change log and review checklist should be implemented to ensure updates are completed accurately before submission. Real-time collaboration tools can enhance communication, while thorough testing across devices can prevent technical issues. Establishing a clear finalisation process will streamline approvals and ensure efficient project completion
Our Solution
Thorough testing across devices will resolve technical issues, including caching problems. Finalising scripts before recording voiceovers and establishing a structured approval process for animations will minimise revisions. A clear finalisation process will ensure all elements are approved before project completion, reducing delays and improving workflow efficiency
Track all updates to prevent repeated errors and ensure revisions are completed correctly
Test updates across multiple devices and browsers to resolve technical issues, including caching problems
Verify all requested changes, such as label corrections and virtual tour updates, before submission
Approve voiceover scripts and animation changes before production to minimise revisions
Utilise real-time document sharing to streamline communication and feedback
